![]() ![]() ![]() The premise is based on a simple question: In a World where imaginary friends are living, tangible beings, what happens to those friends when the kids grow up?Īccording to Cartoon Network and Craig McCracken, they go to Foster's, of course! A home for imaginary friends whose kids have outgrown them, Foster's is a place where friends can live together until they are adopted by a child who needs them. The last shot is of the Foster's Home and every friend in it.Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends was a animated television series, running from August 2004 to May 2009, for a total of 79 episodes in six seasons. Mac's Mom changes her mind and allows Mac to continue to visit, even adopting Coco. When asked why Coco never told anyone, she simply replies no one ever asked. She lost her years ago on a vacation and Coco assumed she abandoned her. Confused, it's revealed that Mac's Mom is Coco's creator. She runs to Coco, and the two embrace each other. While his mother, and everyone there, is touched by Mac's speech, she is still unconvinced, until she see's Coco. Mac gives a speech about friendship and home. Herriman, Madame Foster, and Frankie reveal they invited her to try and convince her to let Mac stay and continue visiting. Bloo reveals it was the first game he and Mac played. Bloo, of course, is terrible, and Mac asks why he continues to play it if he's so bad. Finally, with the day reaching it's end, Mac and Bloo play one last game of paddle ball. Mac spends the day, doing one last fun activity with everyone, while Bloo constantly tries to get Mac's attention, but everyone always takes him away from them. Mac later calls, telling his friends his mother won't let him go to Foster's anymore, and the next day is his last. She reprimands Mac for not giving Bloo up and takes him home. Mac and Bloo are playing downtown with the Foster's Crew, as Mac and Bloo walk away, they are caught by Mac's Mom. So, I thought of a few changes to felt the episode. It just didn't feel like a finale, just felt like another episode. ![]() However, the finale was underwhelming to me. The idea was clever, the humor was funny, and the characters were delightful and charming. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is one of the most underrated cartoons in my opinion. ![]()
